Zach Shearer

Coaching became a passion for me while I was in college. I received an offer to help coach after my senior year and never looked back. I enjoy working with young players and helping them develop and achieve their goals on the field. I have been a part of Dundee for almost three years now, starting as a volunteer assistant. I have worked with all age groups from academy players to high school players teaching technique, tactics and decision making. My favorite thing about coaching is seeing the players gain a better understanding of time and space on the field during games, and translate that into good decisions and beautiful play. I currently have my USSF "E" license and working toward my USSF "D" license. My goal is to develop the player into a contributor for their next team whether that is high school varsity, college or just the top team in the age group.
