Kevin Leib has been added to the DJCT coaching staff for Fall 2016 and will help with goalkeeper training. Leib, who coached DJCT goalkeepers in 2014, is currently a senior starting All-American goalkeeper for St. Edward's University. Leib will work with DJCT's Under-11 to Under-18 select goalkeepers.
Leib, who was named NCAA Division II 2nd Team All-American in 2015, led the nation with a 0.43 goals-against average and was second in the country in save percentage, as Leib posted a .873 mark. He produced a 13-3-2 record with 10 shutouts and 55 saves. St. Ed's won its fourth-straight Heartland Conference regular season title and advanced to the program's third-ever NCAA Tournament where they fell in the round of 32.
DJCT Director of Coaching, Tim Chestney states, "We are very excited to have Kevin work with our goalkeepers again. Kevin has been recognized as one of the best goalkeepers in the country with his play at St. Ed's and feel our DJCT goalkeepers will get a unique opportunity to learn from a coach who is also currently competing at a very high level. Being able to demonstrate the techniques required to be a good goalkeeper is very important and Kevin will obviously bring that to the goalkeeper training sessions."
Kevin Leib states, "Coaching with Dynamo Juniors has allowed me to work with a wide variety of talented goalkeepers spanning from U11 to U18. I look forward to helping players improve their technical abilities as goalkeepers."
