The game in San Antonio marks the first time that that USA and Mexico have met on the soccer field in the River City. The previous friendly between the U.S. and Mexico was a 2-2 draw in front of 59,066 fans on April 2, 2014, at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The U.S. begins its 2015 campaign Wednesday, Jan. 28, with a match against Chile at Estadio El Teniente in Rancagua, Chile (6 p.m. ET, FOX Sports 2, UniMas, UDN). Following the game in South America, the U.S. returns to host Panama on Sunday, Feb. 8, in a 1 p.m. PT kickoff at StubHub Center in Carson, California (TICKETS).
